If it's to do with teeth I'd be getting a dentist to deal with it, not a doctor. I would go to one who specialised in children's teeth to. I wouldn't wait until Sunday either.

I ask, but only out of curiosity. It doesn't bother me to be aked either. I'm not interested in how much money people have or earn though.

I loved Shantaram! I didn't take it too seriously but enjoyed the story from start to end. I'm currently reading The Girl Who Played With Fire and hoping it doesn't disappoint me like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo did.

That's a bit harsh considering the deceased is someone she thought a lot of! And as for people thinking she's still pining for her ex, maybe they will think she's moved on and isn't bothered by the sight of her ex. Or maybe they won't think anything at all. Not every 2nd wife is concerned that the ex is still chasing her first DH!

Visa run aside, be sure of the legalities of driving your son's car first or you may find you'll be up s**t creek if you have an accident. I know for our vehicles drivers have to be over a certain age and have held a UAE licence for at least a year to be covered - check with your son's insurance company.

Guiness, I think that's over-simplifying it. It's possible to really like a family but think one member is a complete and utter @rse, and it may well be that that member is the one you're married to. With second marriages come baggage, and in the OP's case they have a child/ren together so there will always be a bond even if they can't stand each other. The Op doesn't have to be anywhere near her ex and his wife, doesn't have to acknowledge them even. However, if I was the OP I would definitely let the ex know ahead of time that I was planning to be at the funeral.

Based on that, I think you should go. You can flick the v's behind the ex's back if he doesn't like it but you'll kick yourself for a long time if you want to go and don't.

Will it cause friction for you to be there? If you're not likely to rip each other's throats out then I would go, but keep my distance form the ex and his wife.

If you're using Shop & Ship check out Amazon.com and see if the US prices are cheaper. S&S charges are the same coming from the US as from the UK.

Your advice pretty much covers it :) I haven't done it myself for a couple of years so I don\t know what's changed but it was all very straightforward, and visa on arrival. If it hasn't changed you exit the UAE first then drive a few km then enter Oman so it's a two-step process. There are ladies who have crossed very recently who will give precise info.

Yes you do. You get the opportunity to enter your skywards number when you're making your Expedia booking or you can hand in your card at check-in, or claim retrospectively. I think I had a problem once where I purchased one ticket covering EK and another airline. The money was paid to the other airline for the ticket so my miles weren't added. It was a few years ago but I think I managed to claim them in the end though.

I'm amazed that he's still going and even more amazed he's still on tele! He was in Business Class on a flight one day as I was shuffling through to economy. Everyone was saying 'nice to see you' and it must have been a bit wearing but he took it all in good stead. [b'>I thought I was going to open this thread and find he'd died - that would be sad[/b'>. That's what i thought. Ive never been a fan but I think he's a good man.

This really isn't something for a forum. People experience different symptoms for the same problem and the same symptoms for different problems. You really do need to see a doctor and discuss it with her to find out exactly what's going on with your body and get the right treatment if required. Good luck.

I know the turning you mean (I live in RAK). :) I've never been to Helio but it always strikes me as such an un-Arabic sounding name. Is it the desert or sea side of Emirates Road?

Read the first line of kyliejoy's opening post and you'll find a clue - BIN KITTY SPECIALS. That suggests that they and their parents are not fostered/adopted/owned, along with the words "the stray colony where they were taken from", perhaps? edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 07/10/2011

sorry not interested, as there are chances like this about 5 times a day, [b'>the more cats and dogs you foster, the bigger the problem gets, meaning more new kittens and puppies requiring even more foster parents...[/b'> anyways, I am only posting to let you know there is a pet section on EW that you may be interested to check out Not quite sure how you work that one out. Fostered pets are generally spayed therefore eliminating the chances of them breeding. To NOT foster them would surely mean leaving them to fend for themselves where they will, as night follows day, create more and more offspring. I'm sure the OP is aware of the forums, but is just trying to help some animals out.
