If you can trust him not to do something he shouldn't, or you can prevent him from doing something he shouldn't (such as putting stairgates across the top of the stairs) then I don't see any reason why he can't play in his room for a while.

Lots of doves live around dubai ...i have my very own 2 that i think live on my roof....but they are the common colour :) Doves or pigeons? :cool:

A friend's maid has had a call that a relative is in a real bad way back in the Philippines and she needs to get home asap (no, she'd not trying it on). Firstly, could someone please email me the necessary forms for the POLO office on sanddy.dogg @ gmail . com Secondly, is the POLO exit pass thingy issued there and then or does it have to be collected later, and if later, what is the approx timeframe please? Thirdly, the best flight costs are Gulf Air through Expedia. Can my friend book the flights for her maid using her own credit card if she's not travelling? I've done it for my maid but it was a few years ago and I'm not sure if things have changed. Thank you (I know you'll come through ;))

Personally, I think any gift personalised with anything from the baby is personal to the baby's family only - I can't see it having anywhere near the same meaning for anyone else. I like Pentel's suggestions of edible/disposable gifts (and agree that there's a high chance of other gifts ending up collecting dust). Really good candles are a good idea though, and something I'd certainly appreciate.
