Something doesn't add up about this story. a) the maid flies back in to the UAE already pregnant (how did she pass medical?) b) maid gives birth in UAE hospital (how is this possible on a maid visa/no husband?) c) how does baby leave UAE based on above how did baby get residence visa with no mother/father marriage cert etc? ??

If it's issued from a different bank, and was only banked yesterday, it wouldn't show up today. Check on Sunday. and stop worrying ;)

It's highly unlikely he would approach the police to make a report when he has nothing to say about why he would like the cheque stopping, when was it banked?

I'm sure when many of us heard that the villas/jetty were to be destroyed to build the Burj Al Arab we thought noooo! But that was the correct decision for Dubai. And remember the first pictures of Burj Khalifa on the Billboard near where it was to be built?! But all the decisions made so far have been right. :) (Would like my creek to stay how it is though...... :D )

Ditto to the chair-pad things, and just the request face to face. We've had a few neighbours over the years though who have just refused. Or loved to wear clogs at 3am ;) And as for living in some apartments in Bur Dubai, where there is 'the sound' of a cricket bat being battered off the floor upstairs - yet you go up to speak to the neighbours and all is calm and serene in their house - just odd but apparently very common in these apartments?! Used to drive me round the bend. I've also been on the other side of the fence with a very bouncy child, but it's a good opportunity to teach them what are indoor noises and what are outdoor noises.

can you go down Um Suqeim Street instead of Hessa St? Even if it's a long way round for a short cut. The traffic down USS seems to be much better now since they have taken away a set of lights.

Previous visas are from same employer, i.e. you? Khalas, visa file number is the same. take a copy of that one to immigration and just say same visa/file number only the renewed one! :)

Are you sure you don't have a copy of her visa - maybe on your email - have you ever had to scan it for anything. Look through all your paperwork at the time of doing the visa, you might find the visa number there or some sort of copy.

I'm going to throw somewhere else in to your mix TDB, the apartments in Silicon Oasis/Dubailand/skycourts etc. Have a drive out at the weekend and check your times etc. it's not as far out as you think, great value & esp if you are in DSO, lots of facilities.

To me, there's a very big warning bell around the fact that he is willing to have a child adopted by the DW or for her to have a sperm donor. It's almost as though he is already saying he will not be there further down the line, like 'you can have a child, but it won't be mine, so there will be nothing to tie me to you in the future'. Sorry OP, just the way it sounds....

Both are excellent. Difficult to get a quick appointment with though. You are probably looking at a one month wait to see either... if it's urgent you can go to the well woman clinic first and see a GP. All the best,

Unless you are in the DIFC, you can remain on your Dh's visa and just get a labour card, so no need to change your visa. Are you in the DIFC?

If it's not an allergy, it may just be that when she's lying down it is worse - you've tried making the pillow higher but something that used to work a treat when our LO was little and suffered terribly with chesty ailments was: you sitting up and sleeping upright in the bed (sorry but you'll just have to!) and lying LO face down on you - so she is at quite a steep angle up and also getting the warmth from you on her chest used to stop ours coughing instantly when nothing else worked. good luck x

Stick to the usual travel advice of bottled water & no ice in your drinks, but also stick to cooked foods rather than anything raw (salads etc) whilst it's still monsoon. have fun!
