Hi everyone, i've just relocated to Dubai with my 6 month old German Shepherd and would like to find some play mates for her. We used to attend socialisation classes in the UK every weekend and I feel it's important to keep this up at such a young age. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs, no matter what their size. She doesn't get intimidated by larger breeds. We will be moving to the Jumeirah Village Triangle next week and they have fairly large gardens... i'm more than willing to host a play date with friendly dogs if anyone is interested? Alternatively, does anyone host playdates which we can join?? Look forward to hearing from you!! Nicola Hi Nicola I work full time and am unable to commit myself to doggie play dates, so I send my dog to a daycare near JVT called Positive Paws. I know they also do a dog & owner day on a saturday off leash. They seem to have quite a few large breeds in their facebook photos too. LOL there is a HUGE German Shepherd in a lifejacket having a swim in their pool, worth a look - very cute

Thank you so much for this. We are moving to Dubai in the next month and bringing our 2 dogs with us. As both are still quite young I think that Pet Planet will become my second home! We're looking at properties to rent in the JVC / JVT areas (due to budget) and I would love to hear from anyone who can let me have any information about how pet friendly they are Good luck with your move to Dubai, JVT is a very dog friendly community - villas with large gardens :) Most villas communities are indeed pet friendly, however Government rules dogs must be on-leash in public places. However,my dog goes to off-leash park & daycare @ www.positivepaws.ae which is max 10 min drive from JVT/JVC. I definitely recommend you get in touch with them when your dogs arrive as I know from experience trying to set up in a new country with two dogs in the home can be quite challenging, especially as the weather is hotting up now and it becomes more difficult to walk them and burn off some of their energy. Welcome to Dubai when you arrive
