I don't have gift box, but if you need only the red envelop (to put cash in) typically used during Chinese new year, I have a few left that you can have. It just says "happiness" on the front. are you closer to springs or any of that area?

You should ask her right away why it's say "2009" . And look at her face plus the answer she gives --you can find out the truth

I have a pretty big garden(end unit villa ) and we pay $250 (includes cutting grass)a month. They come and water it everyday except Friday some times 2times a day. They also put new plants in the pots as per my request.

This is just my opinion. We recently moved to Dubai. First we looked @springs but after that our relator took us to JVT(jumeirah Village Triangle)next to the springs. We got a villa there. Lot of space comparing Springs, indipendent 2b villa.big yard. same price as springs.I think you can look online and see the video and pics. The area is still under development but so quiet, good living.

I would say, when you get there go to Radio Shack or Best Buy.They will help you. You need a converter for charging also. They can provide all these. you can get a prepaid sim to make calls .But i am not sure you can access your emails.

We just moved from US to Dubai. We left all our electronics back home. That means because of the voltage diff it wont work. But still you can look any of your electronics says(120v -it is the USA power volt) if it says that you can get a converter and use it there. mostly small items like electronic shaver, iron like that.

Hi Ren, I have been looking for admin/finance job past 4months and no luck yet. You are not alone. There is people out there. I feel like mine is little complicated. I have masters in computer science(don't want to do programming). Born and studied in India later moved to US and became a citizen there. Now moved to Dubai . Here I am so confused that 1. Am I from India?(some jobs ask Indians) 2.Western? US? (looking Like Indian ) I used to get paid well back in US . Now I don't want 2k or3k. And most of the admin job they asking Arabic. Which I don't know yet. Everyday I apply at least 5jobs. But so far I got 1email from Abudabi. Which I don't want to drive there. I have 10+years exp in admin/finance/hr. Feel like this place is different. Too many applicants and the hiring people may read upto 100 and select someone. If we didn't hit the first 100 no luck. I think. I am new to Dubai. So I am still learning . One thing sure. Hard to get a job. edited by Usaind on 20/07/2012

The more i talk about this... the more i get irritated. I need privacy thats why i got a villa too. Rather than appartment. That doesnt mean that i cannot talk or wish someone. We all die one day and nothing special i mean everybody go to the ground. I was trying to be nice and it didnt go that well. I guess i have to let it go and move forward. **Thanks to all..at least i got all these responses and i can make me feel good that some people out there care for me... in Dubai.......

I don't think i took their privacy. They were outside their house and i was going for a walk. I said "Hi " we live in this house . Thats all i did. I expected a small response from them but it didnt happen. I didnt realize here in Dubai people like more privacy than other countries. So now on no Hai.. Thank you all for all kind of response to teach me how different people are.

I dont want to be in my neighbours house all the time. Just to get to know and say we live next door.My main concern is when i live by myself if something happen (nothing happened yet) i can just run to their house and ask help. That time I dont want them to say "they dont know me". Going out and find friends is little hard right now. Because i dont have access to go all the places (i mean driving around and also taking taxi ). Still learning about Dubai. Dont know anyone in Dubai yet. That's why i tried to say "Hi" to them.
