thanks for your reply kaba. i just had a look, but i need something bigger than that, 51inches atleast but to be honest even bigger than that would be best, because its not just width thats the problem its the slanted wall also. i honestly do not know what to do except getting something made...but i wouldnt even know where 2 start with that! arrrggghh really stressing me out, hes putting all his toys in oven when its switched off, so now i dont even switch it on at the plug unless hes in another room. he is type of boy that really doesnt listen, i take him away everytime but minute i turn my back hes there again stuffing all his toys, clothes, nappys inside. hes only 15mths. until i find something i guess we're eating take away as i cant have the risk of switching oven on! thanks for your help anyway. edited by vic+zaki on 14/07/2012

I work 4hrs a day - 5 days per week & I get 30 days leave + all public holidays, but I think thats above minimum. No matter what the hours are aslong as u work 5 days per week u should get same enititlement as a full time person. I dont know anything about the labour law though sorry, but I guess each company also has there own minimum/max leave depending on what country its from. edited by vic+zaki on 25/06/2012

Are you going through a recruitment company? I was looking a few months back and went 2 a girl who was really helpful - she met up with me, sent me off to a few interviews she thought were suitable and always gave plenty of information beforehand so I was prepared. It depends what type of work you are looking for though I guess. There is a demand for temp work, I know its not best situation, but the salary is pretty good to compensate for fact its temp and there is always chance of being kept on because you could be covering maternity or sick leave and the person might not come back or another vacancy may open. The temp ones I went for were always around 9months so its enough to get to know the place and work hard and get some contacts and atleast if you dont like it you can always be looking for other jobs so when your contract ends you will hopefully have found something more suitable. I ended up finding my own job anyway outwith recruitment companies, just one of those things you got to stick at because something will come up eventually, but I definately found the recruitment company I went to very good. Good luck!

Yeh it is definately good value for money. Glad to have helped :) Hehe I know what you mean by little monster....:\: My little dude had fun though, its something different for them, and the little kids buffet is nice also. Atleast if there is a few of you going then you can take it in turns to be in the play room with her, thats what we done. The woman in play room is dressed up and really good with kids, my son was amazed by her, she painted a tiger on his face! I booked it in advance, but it wasnt that busy anyway. Oh and the drinks package was 185dhs roughly, I cant remember exactly, but it was definately included in the entertainer vouchers - but I'd just double check with staff first anyway because it does say on voucher that its excluding alcohol. Have fun! Now its got me thinking I wanna go back this week again lol!

Hi lou86, I went to a brunch last week that fits the bill for exactly what you are looking for. [b'>[u'>Chefs House at Radisson Blu Media City - Saturday Fun Brunch[/u'>[/b'> There is a kids play room which has a small bouncy castle, face paints, popcorn machine, candyfloss, a movie playing, a small kids buffet. The cost is 135dhs for each adult and they accept Entertainer vouchers - buy one get one free. The adult buffet is small but ample. My baby is 15months and I felt like he was a little small for the playroom because there was bigger kids that were hyper and play fighting etc so my little one was desperate to get in the middle of it all and I was scared he would get hit by accident. Also when I read about it I imagined there would be an area in the actual resteraunt area for kids, but its not, the playroom is an a seperate area. So unless you take a nanny you will end up sitting in the playroom allday because once the kids have been in playroom they wont sit in the highchair - well mine wouldnt anyway. Its not the most exciting brunch I have been to but overall it is worth the money considering it only works out around 65dhs. It doesnt have the general drunken brunch feel, its definately more tailored to families. Its says on entertainer voucher that its excluding alcohol, but you can actually use it for that as we had 1 person with alcohol package. Its defo worth a try!

Hi Ladies, Hoping u can give me some reccomendations or advice for Health Insurance? I haven't had Insurance since I left my job 2 years ago to have a baby, it was just one of those things I planned on setting up but never got round to it. I was travelling to UK alot so always waited until I went home if I had any little problems. Now I'm back at work and because its only part time hours they don't provide health insurance and I am not able to travel to UK as often now so definately want to set it up ASAP. I'm not looking for a hugely expensive plan, but I understand the cheaper ones arent that good, so somewhere middle of the road would do. I dont need international cover, local would do fine and I also want to have maternity cover, but some have 24month waiting period which is a long time. Im not planning to have a baby soon but I feel like this would be main thing I would use my insurance for so it would be a waste if I fell pregnant before the waiting period was over, a 12 month waiting period would be best. With my old company we had direct billing, where you could just take ID and paperwork to certain clinics and you dont have to pay anything, but from what I've seen online this dont seem to be common? My husband and baby dont need health insurance so it's just an individual plan. I called Daman and they said if I wanted maternity cover my husband had to take a policy also which sounds a bit stupid to be honest! I really dont know much about this sort of thing so any advice would be great. Thanks :)
