i've not done marriage certificates before, but if it's anything like uni certs... we had to send to UK for attestation, then it goes to the UAE embassy, and then comes back here to go to UAE officials again (i forget what and where... i'll try find out and get back to you) sorry i can't answer #3... and for #4, i went through a similar process. officially on all documents i still have my maiden name, i'm waiting for visa/passport renewal to change it to my married name... less hassle

Depends... if the mop was super expensive, then sure complain. But if it's a bog standard one you can get from any carrefour or ace then don't bother - i'm sure you can afford another one quite easily without having to risk the maid being penalised for what is most like a mistake. Saying that I have been in situations before where they've broken something and not informed me about it, only for me to notice after.... if that happens then yes, i get annoyed and complain. More because of the lack of honesty of damaging someone's property than the fact the item is broken. But i guess thats a risk we take if we hire home help

its up to your real estate agent to ensure that the landlord has the property in prime condition before you move in - before moving your things in did you fill in a form checking all marks, scuffs, cracks and damage??? our landlord did similar in the sense he didnt have it painted or the a/c cleaned..... but we asked daily, and reminded daily both the agent and the landlord. tell them they have until whatever moving day to get everything in top condition..... have you handed in your cheques yet?

if im honest, for interview purposes then use most definitely dress smartly- but no need for a business suit. it could be a nice pair of pants with a blouse, or skirt, matched with smart shoes or heels... its rare to see women wearing pant suits here
