I have also a down syndrme boy, I am also a new to Kuwait, just settled a month ago. I have posted earlier with same conserns and got no response.
Anyway, There are very good centers here providing early intervention programs speech physical EIP aba, etc. There is one of good quality in Salmiya providing sessions per hour, The center name is: Fawzeia Sultan center, Tel: +965-2572-0338.
There are also a variety of special needs nurseries and schooling. I have found very good nursery for my 3 yrs son with british accredetation "Kuwait dream center" in Khaldiya Tel:+965-24828123. The nursery provides also full support, EIP, speech etc for best child developement. They are expensive but you will not need extra sessions or therpies to pay.
There is a govermental supported document for all public and private sectors in Kuwait for special needs and down syndrome. I think they have high level of support here in Kuwait. You can download the document -pdf file from the following link for (Kuwaiti Association for Learning Differences):

I am looking for a nursery for my 4 yrs kid to attend in Oslo while I am working for few months. My kid is a down syndrome and wondering if there is a day care can accept him for few months.
