Whether it's a moustache-like dark patch around your mouth or decade old acne scars – pigmentation in any form is a big bummer. Yes, you can cover it with makeup - but who doesn't want naturally flawless skin?
Dermatologists define pigmentation as the darkening of an area of skin caused by the increase of melanin. It’s fairly common among people with dark and olive skin tone but that doesn’t mean people with lighter tones walk free of pigment-troubles. The main cause of pigmentation is inflammation including acne, sun exposure and hormonal imbalances.
