it's unfair because it is not stipulated in the contract that both parties signed!! These things should be written and not assumed. We have offered to get new tenants but it doesn't matter anyway, he hasn't got his land registry documents and to get them he has to pay 2% of the property cost, we have them however and won't be passing them on to him so he can pay his 200,000dhs when his new tenant wants to get a DEWA account bahahahaha!

My Dad wanted me to book him and my mum in for an anniversary surprise tea at Burj Al Arab, I told him it was too little notice and they would be full and they are :( Where else can I take them for a posh afternoon tea? Does the Burj Khalifa do anything like that? I heard the Ritz used to do it - do they still? Any ideas please? They only want to do afternoon tea as they find brunches too much food lol!! Thanks in advance

In the G&D park I use the first shop on your right as you walk in the old entrance, and Manish and the second shop on the left as you walk in the old entrance (sorry can't find receipts for names). I decided to have my old engagement ring remodelled twice! The first time it cost £200 to use the existing diamond set in a floating setting and have new 18 carat gold band with some princess cut diamonds either side channel set. They did a great job. The second time I sold the gold to them and had the ring remade exactly the same but in Platinum with all existing diamonds, this time it cost £300, but getting things made or buying from the G & D park is not a bargain anymore like it used to be - I even used my old tricks of extreme haggling and walking out the shop saying how it was cheaper somewhere else to no avail!! Cara is always busy and my mum found them to be an excellent help and cheaper than other places but she also likes the three shops I mentioned above and she runs a jewellery shop back in the UK so has an idea about these things :)

Hi everyone :) I had my baby!! Liberty was born on the 25th Feb at American Hospital via VBAC - yay!! Dr Mia Branch was amazing and just let me carry on with a trial of labour despite my first born being a C-sec. She was happy as long as myself and the baby were ok. I went in on the 24th Feb at 2pm after 4 false labours!! 2 weeks before the birth I had my show, then lost my plug over a week, then walking became really hard and on the morning of the 24th I had a partial sweep as I was walking around at 4cm dilated for two weeks. The labour lasted until 8am on the 25th when my daughter was born. I had a second degree tear, used gas and air and two shots of pethadine which wore off an hour before the birth. I pushed without the gas and air and wow what an experience, so different from my first :) I pushed for an hour and a half and when she came out she looked tiny but weighed in at 10lbs 2oz (4.523kg) so bigger than my first!! I had a lovely golden hour with my little girl and she latched on almost perfectly straight away - we are still breast feeding two weeks later. After the birth she had jaundice so I stayed in AHD for an extra night. I had SPD in the last weeks of my pregnancy and this made walking after the delivery really hard and painful. The stitches started off ok but now I have some pain from them - mainly a pressure when I've stood a lot. I can manage a quick trip around the supermarket but can't go for a walk yet. My pelvic pain has now eased up and I can put weight on my right leg which was initialy impossible. Last of all my baby girl is perfect and my family now complete :) Good luck to everyone on this thread, lets hear some of your birth stories too x x

Orient Allianze (Arab Orient Allianze) covers IVF. We are with them on Gold plan. I think you have to have had their policy for 18 months prior to treatment but could be wrong. We did treatment with Concieve via Dr Munira and some of the treatment she put through direct billing as fertility treatment - i.e. the ovulation induction and drugs etc. But as the actual egg collection and transfer was with Concieve in Sharjah (not direct billing) we had to pay for it and then claim it back and the insurance paid it back in full. The IVF failed and then we tried Dr Fakih and I had a cyst aspirated and my DH some hormone shots and the insurance paid for them too. I actually fell pregnant naturally that time so didn't do full IVF but we were covered up to 17,000 US dollars which would have been just over two rounds of IVF. Good luck

This is very common. My son hated having his teeth cleaned and I had battles with him. Basically always do it the same times morning and night - I always do his night clean last thing before bed after his last drink of milk and he only is allowed water after that. We found a song on the internet which was done to the tune of twinkle little star but twice as long as the other posters song. I printed it off and put little pictures of teeth with smiley faces on it and a cartoon tooth that had decay. Basically we would go in the bathroom and song the song and I would show him what nice clean teeth looked like and what teeth that were never cleaned looked like and we would do the cleaning. At first they were quick couple of second cleans but even if he only let me do a bit I would praise him. Gradually over time he is happy to have his teeth cleaned and will stand there and let me do it first, I do small areas and let him swallow/spit and speak inbetween areas and then I give him the brush and he does them again (barely!!). Also I read a good idea of if you can find a toy, whether plastic or stuffed, which has a mouth with teeth you can get them to clean the toys teeth and the toy gets a sticker, then if your child does their teeth they get a sticker too. Good luck

Hi Ladies, Quick update: have chosen OBGYN and booked in for the week after Eid. I hope she is available in March or I am going to have to go see someone else and will only have two appointments before I go to the UK for a month. Looking forward to the scan and think I have decided that I want to know the gender now as I could shop in the UK and save some money!! All the sickness has gone, replaced with sciatica, cramps in my legs in the mornings, back ache and pain in my knee. I think I have some round ligament pain too. I still have all my spots and my bump is a bit higher this time - my DH is convinced it's a girl this time but I am still adamant another boy :) We shall see! Hope you are all well? Anyone else planning a 3D/4D scan? I had one with my son and it was amazing. This time I have lots of scar tissue so scans haven't been that clear and am worried to have a 3D would be a waste due to poor visibility - its quite expensive to do.

Baby monitor is a must :) I started off with a BT 250 (Older model) bought in the UK which was excellent, in fact we still use it now. It has talk back, temp, lullabies, torch function. Fab monitor, worked great in all our apartments/villas until this current one in DSO which has a great big electrical thing right next to the stairwell so now the signal will only go a few feet passed that and not into our living room. Luckily the sound playback is so loud (on it's highest setting) that we can hear the monitor from our front room. When DS started in a toddler bed I bought a Motorola video monitor and the signal on that is even worse because of that great big electrical box so the monitor has to be placed at the bottom of the stairs only. The sound on that is not as good as the BT one. The video screen starts up immediately after you switch it on so I always leave it off and when I hear DS on the BT monitor I turn on the video one and can see what he's doing straight away. The camera can be stuck on the wall above the cot/bed with Velcro pads as it's very light. I love both the monitors. Look up the ping baby monitor and also if you have an ipad or iphone I think you can get a camera and use an app to watch/hear the baby/child. Our neighbour has a monitor that connects to their ipad and through into their speaker system. There are so many you can get. If you're a technophobe go for an easy video monitor that you don't need to connect through your wifi.

Hi alowicious, I am also having a terrible time with my skin breaking out. What are you doing to manage yours? I haven't yet asked my doctor what products are safe to use. Thanks. I have chosen Al Zahra Hospital and Dr Yamini. Down syndrome screening done and all clear. Bring on March! It's due to the hormones so there isn't a lot you can do really apart from try to drink lots of water!! I have some witch hazel gel which I put on them every night and by the morning they look better but get worse again throughout the day. Mine are more pimples under the skin which feels like sandpaper to touch and those big blind spots that really hurt :( Can't wait till I start to glow - oh wait, I don't think I ever glowed last time lol!!!

Bounce on a birthing ball, don't recline at all on your back on the couch or in bed, they say getting down on the floor on all fours and scrubbing floors is a good way to get your baby into position, instead of scrubbing floors you can just sway though lol!! The evening Primrose Oil is to ripen your cervix. I used it on the night of my due date and 24 hours later contractions started - coincidence????? I don't know but will be using it again this pregnancy at the 40 week mark again :)

Thanks for your replies. My DH has liked living here, I have been homesick for my family but have got USED to living here. Moving back to the UK would mean we could be closer to DH;s ageing parents and our young kids could see their cousins and grandparents etc. We are not being forced to move back, it is our own decision to make and we have savings here not debts. I just worry about the state of the UK economy, worry what we would do if DH got made redundant after a while as I don't want to eat those savings up whilst he looks for work again, and of course yuck to the cold weather lol!! But then if we stay a few more years the kids will not longer be interested in their grandparents, the right job may not come up....... oh decisions, decisions ;)

Hello ladies ... Congratulations to the new members of march due date... I just got my Down syndrome scans done today at genesis with dr. George and the results were good and normal. I am soooo relieved that the baby is ok. I was so negative all this time. The scan was amazing ... Just divine to see the baby move.... I really liked dr George as well... Although I am with dr Anne at city , I felt he was more warm... Thinking if I should switch but not sure how that would work out... And which hospital he delivers As of now just cherishing the beautiful images and feel more positive .... Glad your scan went well :) My scan also went well. I am 15 weeks now and I've had a week and a half of a reprieve from the nausea and then yesterday felt really sick again - must have been a surge of hormones. Not feeling the 'pregnancy glow' as yet and my skin has gone really spotty - face, neck, chest, upper back - I feel like a teenager lol!! Welcome to the newbies :) Many congrats! I have chosen American Hospital to deliver in but haven't made an appointment as yet. I really want to be more relaxed with this pregnancy so am following the UK schedule of scans and tests and will not see the OBGYN until just before 20 weeks probably. At 13 weeks 4 days I started feeling the baby move :) Last time I didn't feel movement until 15 weeks but didn't realise that's what it was until 16 weeks. My first pg I had an anterior placenta and this time I have a posterior so maybe that's why I have felt 'it' so soon. We didn't find out the gender at the 12 weeks scan so I need to come up with a good nickname for the baby instead of 'it' lol!! Hope you are all well x

I wouldn't fly that late in the pregnancy because you really don't know what might happen, would you want to be stuck in a country if you gave birth early? I am actually away and travelling back to Dubai when I am 30 weeks and with a toddler. I think that is late enough. Different for me too as I am going back to home country so if anything happened then I would be happy to give birth there and stay until the baby was healthy enough to travel back to Dubai. You have to make your own decision though so if you still go I hope everything is ok :)

Ju Ju Be make a be prepared bag which is like a travel holdall but comes with a matching nappy change mat. I use mine as hand luggage on the plane for my son but will be using it for him and the new baby and I'm sure you could fit enough for three kids in there! Look at their website. Not many people stock it in Dubai but if you have a shop n ship account you can get it via that or if you know someone who lives in USA they could post one to you here. You can add ons for the bag like paci pod (dummy holder) etc. Not cheap but you can also get them on ebay and to wash them you just chuck them in one of those net bags in the washing machine on a 30 degree wash with your normal detergent and dry in the sun. They are great quality :)

Kids can get very fussy with their foods, they say the stomach is as big as their fist. My son eats a lot depending on what meal it is, he loves pasta so will eat a big bowl of that. I would just give her a variety as the other lady said and don't worry about how much she eats, snack times should be regular and make sure her weight is going up not down. If you do all that she will be fine :)

Hi everyone, hope you're all well? I am 12 weeks now, got my scan on Tuesday - very excited! Still won't be telling the world for a while yet though. I haven't chosen my OBGYN yet, I'm waiting for the scan just to check everything is ok and then will research and decide. I've still got all day sickness, it's not as bad as it was but my diet is very limited and I have lost 11lbs in weight from food aversions and being sick. I am much less sick now than I was. It's actually been a good day today and haven't felt much nausea - I am hoping this means it's easing off a bit, well I can hope :)

I had an emergency c-sec with my first baby (pregnant now with 2nd). You will know when your labour starts believe me :) Mine started the day after my due date in the evening, contractions were painful enough for me to actually hold my breath for a second or two till they passed and I couldn't sleep through them but could talk. They started at 5 mins apart and slowly over the next 48 hours (yes 48 flippin hours!) they got closer together until they reached 2 minutes apart. At 8.30 in the morning we went to hospital to be checked and I was 3cm dilated so they said I could stay in. I progressed slowly so ended up being induced. I was also told as it was Ramadan and a Friday the epidural guy was on call but was in at that very moment so did I want one? I panicked thinking if I said no I wouldn't be able to have one at all so I had one at 5cm dilated. At 7pm I was told I wasn't progressing fast enough and would have a C-section. I said no. The Dr said he'd wait an hour, he did and I was 8cm so they took me down for a C-section. On the way down I was so upset and nervous about being sliced open I told the epidural guy I could still feel my feet surely that wasn't right if I was about to be cut open so he kept topping up the epidural until I felt freezing cold and was a dead weight from the waist down. Biggest mistake of my life!! I got down to theatre and was told I was 10cms and to try pushing - I couldn't do it, couldn't feel a thing and didn't know what to do so my baby was born via C-section at 8.30. This time, as there is no medical reason for me to require a C-section, I am aiming for a VBAC with as little intervention as possible, I do not want inducing or my waters breaking or an epidural. I am going to research hypno-birthing and get a doula and I am searching for the perfect OBGYN who will let me just get on with it. I plan to stay at home until I feel I can't talk through the contractions and will keep active through them unlike last time. Of course if a C-section is required again that's fine at least I now know what to expect but they can knock me out under general instead this time as I would like the sleep lol!!! I've read that you use the same muscles to push a p**h out so next time you're sat on the toilet remember that's what you need to do to get your baby out ;) You'll be fine x

Hi Mismatch, people always have a doom and gloom view of PCOS and getting pregnant, just the other day I was having a scan and the sonographer asked me how on earth I got pregnant when I have PCOS - I mean come on really??? I have PCOS, I have 20 plus cysts on each ovary to the point where my right ovary did not work for a while. My cycles range from 30 days through to 100 days, I have high levels of testosterone, hair growth on my face, acne on my chin, you name it lol!!! I am now pregnant with my second child at 39 years old. My mum had PCOS and she managed to have 3 babies even though she rarely had a period. She told me she had maybe one or two a year!! I was diagnosed years ago at age 32 but didn't want kids then so decided to do nothing about it. When my DH and I started to TTC I visited my Dr and he prescribed 1500mg a day of Metformin (Glucophage) to try, my cycle went down from 100 days to 26 days and on the third month I conceived (a miracle child because my DH's sperm count was so low we had been told we would need IVF). There are so many things you can try with PCOS; metformin, clomid, natural supplements (although I found Agnus Castus to delay ov) and soy, even losing some weight if you are overweight can help. Don't despair!!! I have had so many cysts on my ovaries, the biggest only ever reached tennis ball size, if they rupture they can hurt but normally you catch them early and can have them aspirated under sedation which doesn't hurt. There is a good website to do research on called soulcysters, they have threads on each different type of treatment. I have a handful of friends who also have PCOS, some not to my extreme, but they all have children, one didn't even have any treatment at all. Good luck at the Dr's, don't give up hope please :)

sorry just saw you said 8 weeks. My first pregnancy I had a scan at 8 weeks with Dr, then the Dr referred me to fetal medical centre next to city hospital for 12 week scan where they did blood tests for downs etc. and a scan to see if fluid on the neck etc. then I choose my OBGYN. I am doing the same this time except already chosen OBGYN just haven't seen her yet. Hope that helps.

First congrats :) Secondly do some searches on here for costs and opinions on hospitals. You can get different maternity packages at different hospitals and maybe these show on the hospitals websites? If not then pop and ask them and book in to view the maternity floors at the same time. Depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy determines what you do next. Some people stay with a Dr until they decide on a hospital package but you should decide pretty quickly as good OBGYNs have quite full books. I don't know anything about the Latifa hospital really apart from you should register there anyway if you don't have an easy pregnancy as early births need to be dealt with by them as most other hospitals can't take very early preemies. I think City can deal with 26 weeks onwards, don't know about others. OK that's all my knowledge lol!! Good luck

For me it's important to know what date I ovulated, I normally know anyway due to pains but also had used an ovulation kit. I am hoping for a VBAC and so need to ensure the date of conception is as accurate as possible. However due to sperm being able to live up to 6 days and ov happening 36 hours after a peak on the OV kit, this can make a difference to the date. I am only sure because we only did the deed once and because of my luteal phase being 14 days after that as normal. I have been trying for 2 years and know my cycles inside out despite them being so irregular!! So to many people a few days here or there won't matter but to me it's the difference of whether I have a vbac or another c-section

I have a raised bit but the rest of the scar is pink and its right in the pubic hair line so not noticeable really but it sometimes itches. Mine is 3 years old now and I still have some loos of feeling around it but think that's where the skin stretched so much - I had a monster baby :)

as Anon said, but this is only correct if you have a normal 28-30 days cycle. If you have longer cycles they should do it from the date you ovulated as they have to do for me as my cycles are from 36 days to 100 days long!!

I had my son in dec 2010 and by aug 2011 I wanted to have another, however due to secondary infertility issues it has taken us till june 2013 to actually get pregnant. Originally I wanted my kids to be close in age but it hasn't worked out like that and I am quite glad now. My son is so much easier than he was at 2, he goes to nursery 2 days only a week to give me a break and I feel as he will be 3.5 when baby comes along he will be able to help me with the new baby - at least that's what I hope!!! Knowing my luck he'll regress into a 2 year old vying for my constant attention ha ha ha!!! Basically have your next whenever you feel ready. You may never feel ready or you may worry that you won't cope or whatever, but you will :) edited by alowicious_28 on 01/08/2013

They are called Paper wasps I think, 3 doesn't mean a nest. We have a few that visit regularly as we have flowers in our garden. I think you would see their nest as we have an old one in our garage and it looks like a lump of plaster on the ceiling with holes in it!!! It was sprayed by pest control before we moved in and we haven't had to treat it again. The only way to stop wasps is to get rid of flowers, otherwise you'll have to do what we do and scream and run in the house (can't stand wasps lol!!).

Contact one of the volunteer groups on facebook like 38 smiles or Bin Kitty or Feline Friends, one of those groups might take pity on the cat with the kittens and will come to get her spayed, there are special promotions on at the moment for cheaper spaying. Also you shouldn't feed the cats too much as they rely on your food and lose their survival skills - what would happen to them when you move on. Always leave water out but don't leave it by your door, if there is a garden area or sandy area close by leave it there. If you don't do anything about the kittens they too will grow up and have kittens and you'll be surrounded by them!

My son gave his day dummy up at age 1 and when he was 2 we asked him to put his night dummys in the bin, which he did and it took 2 nights of him waking occasionally and he was back to normal after that. I would definitely give a dummy to my second child if it helped.

I just wanted to add I am on another baby site as a member of the IVF thread there and one lady who is 43 is pregnant on her 5th and last try of IVF with a frozen embryo, she has a child who is 12 and remarried about 8 years ago and they had been trying for last 6 years. She is 20+ weeks now and all is good, she's not concerned about her age in the slightest!

you'll always get someone who thinks you are too old to have kids but who cares what they think!!! I am pregnant with my second child at 39, my gran had my mum at 42 and my good friend who recently left Dubai had her 3rd child at 43. I think older mums are very common nowadays and it doesn't matter how old you are when you have a child at all. In my opinion it's better but that's based on the fact that my parents no longer get on with each other now all their kids have left home - empty nest syndrome I think it's called. I love the fact that when I am at retirement age I could still have my kids at home with me. My DH is 9 years older than me and none of his friends have said anything about him being older although I am sure in the future someone will ask him if he is the grandparent and we will just laugh! I know it's harder for you as you're having fertility problems but don't lose hope and I hope you get your dream :)

Hi everyone and congrats! I'm 9 weeks now, bloated still, sick still, nausea all day and so tired which is especially hard as have a 3 yr old to look after :) Had my first scan at my Dr and all is well. Going to Fetal Medical centre for 12 week scan as I did last time, they have excellent scanning machine there and give you pics and a DVD and even do a 3D picture of the baby's face to check for cleft lip. Then I plan to go meet my OBGYN. Last time I delivered in City hospital (emergency c0sec) and ended up with e-coli infection and dysentery for 7 weeks following a 2 week stay in hospital due to my bowels stopping working. We are convinced that something in the c-sec room must have been dirty and caused my infection, I had two pus collections in my abdomen the day after and had to wear drains for a few days. Was a horrible experience! The hospital didn't even find out what was wrong with me, after the 6th week of being ill I went crying to my family Dr saying I couldn't cope anymore and he tested a stool sample and said amoebic dysentery which I must also have caught from hospital as I was there for 2 weeks. I also didn't like my OBGYN as he took the mickey out of me and at the last moment wanted to change - looking back I wish I had. So this time going to American Hospital I think and have already booked my Doula. How are you all getting on? p.s. don't let my experience at City put you off, I'm sure plenty of people have had great births there, just not me :)

I would go and make appointments with a few clinics first and decide on your own opinion of the Dr. We first went to Dr Fakih in 2009 and didn't like the look of the clinic or him, he was very cold and our appointment lasted 5 mins literally! We were lucky as we didn't realise that on that visit we were already pregnant. My DH then was diagnosed azoospermic so we went to Dr Munira in DMMC on reading how great she was on here and did ICSI with her and Concieve. She did not do any tests on my DH despite us asking as she was convinced he had a blockage in his tubes resulting in no swimmers. I kept pointing out sometimes he did have a count of 300 and sometimes 0 so how could that be a blockage. She was adamant. Our first round with them failed due to only 2 of my 12 eggs collected showing any signs of fertilisation and even though there were only 'signs' of fertilisation they still put them back despite them not having any chance. This was the worst experience of my life. I couldn't do any more IVF for a few months after that as my head wasn't ready. When I felt I could go through it again I made an appointment and e-mailed Dr M a week in advance saying that the appointment would be a follow-up from the failed cycle and to start a new cycle and I would like to know my egg grading as they had never told me. She forgot her notes from conceive so that was it for me and I wouldn't say I thought she was a good Dr - here's why: We went to Dr Fakih again in May 2013. He has new premises and was a completely different person to the last time we met! He scanned me and said I had a huge cyst which he then aspirated the next day. He listened to our concerns about my DH's fluctuating swimmer count and immediately tested his hormones which were found to be low and he prescribed 4 shots of HCG to be taken once a week for 4 weeks. These shots would encourage DH's body to produce more sperm. We were due to start IVF on 23rd June but my period never came :) Can you guess why??!! The injections had given my DH super-sperm and his count went from 0 - 300 dead sperm to 42 million swimming sperm and we were lucky to achieve natural pregnancy. I will say f you have a gut feeling about something go with it no matter what Dr says!! Good luck whichever you decide on.

Hi, Our Bug went separate to the luggage. You can take a stroller weighing no more than 10 kilos and has to be not over a certain length but all packed up our Cameleon weighed 20 kilos and was over the length and they still let us take it as extra above our luggage allowance. We also took a baby carrier on the plane and they stowed it in an overhead locker - it was a maxi-cosi cabriofix. If you use one of those umbrella strollers you can take that to the plane hatch and they will stow it for you. Dubai don't really care if you need to take water for a baby's bottle or food with you on the plane, it's worse coming back from the UK (don't know where you are going to?).My tips for travelling would be breathe! Make sure when you take off and land the baby is suckling on something bottle/nursing/dummy and you can gently massage the ears to help them pop, do that when your own ears pop. Get the bassinet whether you think you will use it or not its good to have a little break. If you feel stressed hand baby to hubby and walk! Take a padded nappy change pad as the drop down change thing in the toilets is hard and quite short. Breathe! we travelled twice with a young baby and he was really good both times, only cried when another baby did, but didn't really sleep very much. Lastly, breathe :) count to 10 before you flip lol. I always remember when I was pregnant seeing a lady travelling on her own with a baby and she was a smoker so was puffing on one of those fake fags that gives you a dose of nicotine, looking very stressed, she was cradling her baby and saying 'shut up' to her and the poor love was crying it's heart out, I nearly went over and offered help but a stewardess beat me to it. When ur on your own and you need a break just ask one of the stewardesses they are great and always happy to help. Good luck! edited by alowicious_28 on 28/11/2012

Old thread but Baros definitley, had the best belated honeymoon there, walk around the island only took 10 mins, beautiful food, some of the best restaurant food I have ever tatsed, we didn't have one of the villas on the water, we went for the beach villa and it was so romantic, every night they made the bed up with flowers, there was a shower in the garden. I fell in love with the place :) We went may/june and there were only 3 couples on the island the first few nights and up to 16 couples on the night we left. Staff attentive and internet facilities available, champers on tap! highly highly recommend Baros

Does anyone know of a cheapish way to air freight a box 80x45x45cms weighing approx 30kilos from UK to Dubai. Quote from TNT approx £400, wondering if anyone used/recommend anyone a bit cheaper?? I know shipping is cheaper but can't wait that long - unless you know someone who can work miracles lol! Thanks in advance

Hey Zocco, how are you today? I had my blood test today (late because of a mess up with papaerwork!) and confirmed negative :( Its very odd but 5 days after the transfer I knew it hadn't worked! I was feeling a bit low yesterday because I stupidly did a home pregnancy test, so think I spent most of the day crying. Then this morning after going to the clinic and the Dr calling me and telling me I don't have to wait two whole cycles I felt much better and can feel my positivity coming back and my eagerness to get moving on the next cycle. I haven't decided if we will go with her again yet but we will be going to the follow-up consultation in 2 weeks time and will decide after that. How did your test go? was it what you thought? If you have to do another cycle did you get eggs to freeze? I didn't so can't do FET. I only pop on here every few days but please keep me updated, my fingers are crossed for some good news for you x x

I took away my son's day time dummy at 1 yr old and was going to take away his night dummy at 2 yrs but I don't feel its the right time at the moment (he is 26 months). I am going to wait until he can talk properly and use the trick of giving it away or asking him to put it in the bin in the hope that he will understand then that he threw away his dummy. I didn't have a dummy as a child, instead I sucked my thumb till I was about 4 or 5 and I have an overbite. My top teeth are lovely and the overbite has never bothered me at all. My two front bottom teeth are not so perfect but the dentist told me it was because I didn't have enough room on my jaw for all my teeth so one of the front two turned a little. I have never felt that bothered about it to get a brace. If you have already resisted to give it back to her after 5 days then it seems silly to let her have it and have to start all over again. Persevere! good luck

Hey Zocco how are you? I am 10 days after the egg transfer today and had BFN this morning. I am guessing if it was positive it would have shown by now. Have my beta tomorrow. Am gutted to say the least. Because my cycles are so long and they like you to have two periods so your ovarys can heal I won't be able to try another go for probably 6 months now :( I HATE waiting! Good luck to you x
