Hi, sounds good to me, I haven't driven here yet and not sure how to get to JLT. Is it near Spinneys Town Centre ? Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Mosque. Last minute hiccups arose. But, hopefully we can rearrange. :)

When is little ones birthday. My Daughter is going home (UK) in July and would happily try to get some for you. Unless they're huge of course...we're giving her a shopping list.

Hi Geordie1, Sorry for not replying sooner...busy days ! Heard great things about JLT. Glad you're enjoying it there. I absolutely love it down at the Creek. Need to do the textile souks soon. I haven't done a brunch yet, It's a bit of an early start with the booze for me. Would be under the table by 3pm haha. Now, IF I had a McGettigans on my doorstep, would def take an evening "stroll"...for the excercise of course. :)

Hi Geordie1, Haven't done a coffee morning yet. The Springs is only a short taxi ride to the Metro but, wish I was nearer to one. It's really quiet here. We have a fab facebook group. We've had one meet up and have another planned for Tuesday. First meet up, we went to Bastakiya...amazing place. We're doing the Jumeriah Mosque tour on Tuesday. Where do you live btw ? Villa is a 3M. SO hard to keep clean but, 30 seconds from the pool :) Would only want a part time job but, haven't looked for a few weeks. How about you ?

Hi Mungomango, I live in The Springs. Check out the Facebook page. I haven't been to the coffee mornings yet because I had other things to do on the dates arranged. Will hopefully make the next one. I've only been here 4 months and was so lonely at first. But, apart from the occasional wobble, I'm slowly settling. HTH

Ours started College/School here in Jan. Eldest in y12 can't wait to go to Uni in the UK. Youngest in Y8 loves it here. The fact that they can be kept back a year if they don't pass end of year exams has really made them work hard. Got my tin hat ready in case that happens ! Good Luck x
