I found them quite tame but, some people might not. Read the reviews and there are other recommendations. Good Luck x

Hi Virtue, We always said "If they're old enough to ask, they're old enough to know" However, Dad travels a LOT so, it was me doing the explaining. Bought a couple of books for him to look through. Answered him honestly. When it got to the nitty gritty bits.....I used a couple of teddies..lol. He's not embarrassed about anything now (even periods) Cleared up some of the junk the older lads had told him too. He's coming up for 13 now but was about 11 when he got curious. HTH x

Hi Feefmick and Pikachu, What a kind offer Feefmick. I live in The Springs so will check the links for Coffee Mornings. Have actually received 2 lovely emails from 2 Ladies. So things looking better already. I don't do the School run Pikachu....Thankfully, but, so true, made loads of friends at the School gates back home.

Thank You Elmpark, Feefmick and Babyrat. I'm sure in a few months time I will look back and think how stupid I was. But, lonlieness is a killer. Good Luck to all newbies and not so newbies struggling to settle and/or find work. If anyone has a template of a CV suitable for Dubai, could you share please. I've looked at about 30 already for the admin / reception / data input areas. LOL at the * In Laws * Babyrat

Thanks admin, I have looked at the CV bank but, have no idea about salaries out here. Especially for part time work. Will have another look and probably be back with more questions. There is a Fb page for my community but seems to be for lost animals ! Hadn't thought about looking at Supermarket boards. Thank you

Thanks Sarahlou, Clairehdp and SalsB. Working wasn't on my agenda when we moved here. I do have hobbies. Have 2 children in Y12 and Y8 so, not babies. I got the impression that part time work is hard to come by. But, you never know...She hopes. Yes, it is very early days and know I have to give it more time and get myself out there. You've all been there and got the TShirt and I really appreciate your replies. Best of luck OPMUM1. That's not an option for me.

Thanks admin and Salamander. I have looked at the jobs section here but, really need to start from scratch. There's so much to fill in and would like some professional advice. My CV is on an old PC and can't get access to it atm. Keep thinking *What have I done* The coffee mornings are quite far from me and I don't drive here....yet ! Thanks for reading :)

Oh I love the Zoo...tiring day though ! I'm Cheshire, Stockport side. I hate the cold so, bring on the sunshine !! OP....Loads of Wacky Warehouses, they're restaurants with play areas for all little ones. Very noisy and so glad I'm past that now. Enjoy :)

Where in Manchester will you be staying ? Lived 10 mins from M/cr Airport. There's a new Lego play area at the Trafford Centre. Haven't done this one but heard good reports. Eureka in Yorkshire (train ride and stops outside) is a good one when wet. Camelot, Blackpool, Alton Towers Water Park is fab. HTH

Thank you for your replies. Certainly wouldn't want the kids to struggle. My two started mid term so, did miss a bit of Schooling here. Hopefully they will be able to keep up. But, on the other hand...an extra years fees x 2 Another daily eye opener. Many Thanks

Try SoS Air Cargo at Manchester Airport. Not sure if that's exactly what you need. But, might point youin the right direction. HTH
