I would like to ask why are there no coffee mornings on a weekend or an evening just an hour would be great people would not resort to looking to meet people if EW catered for people who work sun-thur

it depends what you are looking for do you have children? what is your price range? its easier to make a decision once you are here though and your husband will need to have his visa before renting anywhere so I would suggest maybe stay in a hotel untill you get good look around

Hello ladies, We are moving from London to Dubai and need some information/recommendations on school choice. We have visited a couple of international schools and picked two schools. Gems World Academy vs Repton. Both seem to be good schools with state of the art facilities and similar tuition fees. Can anyone share their experiences good/bad from GWA or Repton. What is the quality of teaching. Are the staff/admin approachable and helpful. Does the school communicate regularly to parents on what's going on in the class/school. Any hidden costs apart from the obvious - tuition, transport, lunch, extra curricular activities. How good is the quality of food and how much does it cost. Appreciate any comments, especially from parents from GWA and Repton. Thank you!!! Hi go on to their website its really good and helpful it tell yous everything you need to know

Has anyone tried champix ? I looked into it and watched a bbc doc on the medication was very frightening so I didn't bother but I however do know of some people who have taken it and did work... I asked a pharmacist and he said the rate of severe side effects soooo low .. But I don't know. Anyone ? Everyone is different and champix affects people differently I took them in uk stopped for 7 months with these but few month after finishing course I started again. I would def take them again and considering it if I cant do it with pure will power this time. I know people who suffered from depression but usually affects those who have in some way or other suffered from anxiety and depression before . I had funny dreams very weird but actually quite funny and nothing scary though. I was monitored closely by my doctor as I took epilepsy meds at the time . Speak to a doctor first see what they think

I moved here only 5 months ago with my DH who was offered a job near Abu Dhabi, we had to give it a try we may have regretted it if we did not give it a shot so far so good although I too have not found a suitable job yet but we manage on one wage and I still get out and about and shop etc . I find that I need a working routine now though but like the others have said wages are not very good for jobs I am looking for so it depends on what you do or what qualifacations you have . cckl is right about the community feel but you being a mum may help in meeting other parents too. I do spend a lot of time on my own but I think here it is a gradual process both in job searching and making friends who share same interests etc. I must say though we made the right decision and will never have any regrets. Like I always say life is an adventure its the best way to look at it

Thanks Geordie! I just got of the phone with them, can't believe how rude that lady was! She was no help at all! What a pain to get all the right stamps, its doing my head in! ;) You obviously got the same 'helpful' member of staff that I got! It seemed such a pain to do it their way I used Vital Certificates instead, it cost but it's an important document (and I'm lazy!) There is no need for rudeness I hate that especially when its their job!! hope you get it sorted , we did all ours before coming to dubai as we had plenty time to get them done . Yes try hiccups suggestion it is easier to use a company and then you know its all done correctly no stress
