We are moving to a new villa, and I'm considering subscribing to one of the mosaic packages? Anyone using it, I would love some feedback. General feedback, and also if anyone is using it in or near Riviera Gardens (anywhere in the Landmark or Duhail areas)?

Thanks!

We've got both. We got Mosaic because when we moved it was cheaper to cancel our Qtel and take out new internet, phone and mosaic than to either just move them or take out just internet and phone. not sure if they still have it but we got the first 2 months for free and no moving/installation costs - so even after the first 2 months of full channels with just the basic channels we saved QR700. We've got Showtime in another room and in our old villa it was ok but here it is pretty awful - get black screen for a second or two a couple of times every hour...quite frustrating! Still it's probably a necessary evil! :)

We have had problems with our Mosaic and Qtel are frustrating when there is a problem - they don't always solve it. We get our internet/tv through mosaic. We have Showtime as well, which is much more reliable and the support service is better - but that is just for tv.

We have it, its fine. Took a while to get connected, and had to go through a process of being told it "wasn't available in my area/was available/wasn't/ was/would be connected tomorrow/ would be 3 more weeks.........." Frequent phone calls got it accomplished finally. I find the packages frustrating and almost wish we had just got satellite although I think mozaic does work out slightly cheaper.
