Hello All! Can someone recommend a tailor to me? I am looking for someone to simply hem some pants for me at this time, although hubby has plans of having some clothing tailored for him from scratch. I live in Ain Khalid Gate, if that is helpful. Thanks in advance for any ideas; I would feel much more lost in Doha without this forum and its kind contributors!

Yes, please give us the directions from Megamart. I need a couple of simple maxi skirts made and can't find anywhere to do it. If only I had a sewing machine, I'd do it myself. Thank you!
It’s very hard to come by a good tailoring place in Qatar. I would recommend a super approachable and affordable all around organised and efficient tailoring place in Doha that does repairs and alterations as well as simple dressmaking. Its a homey and inviting family run business - They would be happy to give you pointers on how to sew your next maxi skirt!

Yes, please give us the directions from Megamart. I need a couple of simple maxi skirts made and can't find anywhere to do it. If only I had a sewing machine, I'd do it myself. Thank you! No problem. Coming from Ramada etc, Megamart will be on your right. Continue past and straight ahead at the roundabout. Make sure you are in the middle or right lane so you don't go over Jaidah Flyover which is the left lane. At the next roundabout turn left, now you are on the B ring road where Century is located. Sports Corner will be on your right but this is not the area you want. Again stay in the right lane and go quite some way until you pass some construction. There will be some a block of about 4 shops on your right, one of which is Bombay something... Just park out front and go in to Century Tailors! If worse comes to worse and you are in the right lane and find yourself going up a ramp you have gone too far. No matter, just do a U turn, go back along the same road until you're back at the roundabout under the flyover. Hope that makes sense, good luck!

Ravi the travelling tailor is great for alterations and copies especially for women as he is fine with measuring you. He charges 30QR per hour .I had him alter some curtains , take in and hem dresses , shorten my husbands suit trousers and make cushion covers. His no is 66170430 . He brings everything with him . BEDH so for hemming, he does it on the spot? Thanks.

I like Century Tailors, always ready on time, good prices and good tailoring. Let me know if you would like directions. Not far from Megamart, so I usually kill two birds with one stone!

I have also used Himayla Ladies tailors in Granda Souk tailors to make clothes but only direct copies.
