road trip Doha - Bahrain practicalities and driver/car
And now a personal question: Would love to take the road from Doha to Bahrain or alternatively UAE. If you wonder: I'm 'collecting' country visits and this is the only way to visit Saudi for me. Not sure yet how to do it exactly as I have a company provided lease car, but buying a car just for that purpose is an option. What other options might there be? I looked into drivers who would transport my husband and me, or tourist guides in Saudi that would offer such service, but no luck. Tourist companies in Qatar maybe? Maybe someone else here is planning such trip and want to take two nice people along?
But here's the question: I do need a no objection letter from my sponsor (my employer), which is no problem. But as I'm sponsoring my husband I'm not sure if he can actually get such a letter in the first place. Any experience with this?
