Hey! What is the best mode/venue to use to mail and receive packages in a timely manner without breaking the bank (from the U.S., specifically)?
Thanks much!!! :-)

Getting mail sent to a PO Box can sometimes be hit or miss in terms of timeliness. I've received letters in 2 weeks, or 2 months, and I know some who have received items 18 months after they were mailed. It doesn't happen too often but it does happen. Anything you will need quickly, send via courier or shop and ship which is cheaper but can take up to 5 - 7 days.

I got an Aramex Shop and Ship account many years ago when I lived in Dubai and it's great for light items (as you are charged per half kilo, as I remember). I then switched the account over to Qatar when I got here. You pay a one off fee and have access to P.O. boxes in NY, China, Dubai, Qatar and several other places. Items are shipped to these P.O. boxes and then couriered by Aramex to Qatar. Not all vendors allow shipment to P.O. boxes though, but I order through Amazon (UK and USA) and many U.S. shops allow you to ship too. We get packages/mail sent directly to husband's office.
