I don't think so, as I love our garden & privacy (the villa is just about bearable!!) AFG6 is also a bit big for just 3 of us and a tad out of our price range ;-) I think they're worth a look though & they'll be popular because of the location. edited by kimmc3 on 18/05/2013

Would you move from Al Messilah to Al Fardan Gardens 6 Kimmc ? I saw on property finder they are going for 18K -22K depending on size and whether they will be furnished.

I've been and looked at 2 villas. They are really quite big, all are 3 level and all have bathrooms on each bedroom. The 4 bed has a small private pool. The 5 bed has a tiny, closet sized maids room with mini bathroom off the kitchen. There is not a lot of outside space, just a paved yard really. Covered parking for 1 lrg car and one small car. The clubhouse and pool are fantastic - really big. The finishes, ie light fittings, cupboards, tiles etc are really ugly and cheap looking, but the kitchen hob & oven were good quality ones. I'm pretty sure they'll go for around QR 20k upwards. The location is really good though. Apparently, according to the manager there, the villas will be offered to other AFG residents first and you have to go through the AFG agent to have a look around - the security won't let you in otherwise. We sneaked in round the back through a small gate, but the manager came and told us off!

Its perfectly located for DESS and everywhere really . I live nearby in Al Messilah Compound and always describe it as the middle of Doha. . AFG 6 does look much more compact than other Al Fardan Gardens but is the same orange ! Stage One should be completed really soon. Hoping to go and look this week at the houses and facilties with a friend whose teens are a bit fed up with our compounds dire gym . I will post the outcome.

Hello there, Has anyone of you been to the new alfardan gardens 6? They say it's right across from the American embassy in an area called messila ! From google map, it looks like it will be a convenient place to live with kids in both Dess and Sherborne. Not any feedback online as this is a new compound due to open this June...but if any of you has done a tour or visit to the place , please share with me your experience. Many thanks.
