Hi there - we are about to move to Doha (husband already there) and he has found us a lovely compound villa in Al Jazi 2. We tried to find something suitable for our family of five nearer to the school (Park House) but nothing was available or big enough. We have settled on something further away and our agent said although it looks like a long drive it is a relatively quick/easy one. Is this true?? What sort of journey time should I be looking at for school runs?? Also I have heard that it can be hard to get hold of Make-up and toiletry brands I'm used to in Doha, although my husband reckons the shopping malls are really well appointed. Thanks for any feedback.
