art workshops with artist Younes Rahmoun for children and adults at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art
Anyone interested in art workshops this weekend?
Mathaf is excited to announce two upcoming workshops that kick off our Artist Encounters series, where we invite artists in our exhibitions to lead either a talk or a workshop about their work on view. Our first artist is Younes Rahmoun, who will be hosting:
“Tayf”: a drop in workshop for kids (5-8ys old) on Feb 11 and 12 at 4pm, on light, color, and transparency play
“Tajdid”: a 5-day workshop for teens and adults from Feb 14-18 at 5pm, on making sculptures with deeper meaning out of everyday found objects
Both workshops will happen in Mathaf in Education City, and will be hosted in Arabic but with help from Mathaf educators for the family workshops. The family workshop is first-come, first-serve, but those interested in the adult workshop should register by sending an email to [email protected].
