Hi there
i was at katara beach recently and the dress code for ladies is that you should wear longish shorts and have your chest and shoulders covered, ie cycling type shorts and a rash top. i ended up staying in my kaftan and leggings for most of the day. There were ladies wearing just one piece swim suits with shorts on.
its is a lovely beach with plenty to do for kids there including water toys and a park, they now sell drinks from a little kiosk at the back of the beach. Lacking in changing facilities and toilets. you have to leave the beach and cross the road again!
