I was in the Singer shop today and asked if they knew anywhere that sold quilting wadding, and they said there's a place in the curtain souq (near Dhow roundabout) that sells it. I didn't go into any more details than that, but there may be hope for you!

I have bought it in the past in Jarir Book Store - look in the hobbies section. However, I haven't looked there for a while. It is worth a trip. You won't find it in the souqs or Al Rawnaq. I bring mine back with me now - sorry!

Sorry - in case "batting" is the wrong term here, I am basically after the filling that goes into quilts etc to make them soft and puffy.... I don't mind if it's cotton or polyester!

To any crafty ladies out there... does anywhere in Doha sell low pile Batting?? I have tried Al Rawnak (all of them!) and Bombay Silk and several fabric and accessory stores at the Souq and also behind Royal Plaza without success. And no one there knows what I am talking about when I ask.. Thank you!
