Thanks Chizz. I have just got one quote so far which is for AED12,500 so it is good to see it is a good rate. I can save myself getting comparables as I have used this company before and happy with their services.
I can tell you that we paid AED13,000 14 months ago...that was with GAC...Allied/Pickfords were more expensive by a good few thousand and Crown were the most expensive (maybe as much as AED19,000 as I recall, but could have been a ''bit'' lower). Had used GAC before from Kuwait to Dubai and had a good experience with them, so I was quite willing to use them again from Dubai to Doha...DH's company wanted the cheapest quote, so went with them again...Also check if your/DH's future employer has any corporate deals with any shippers (that's assuming that the company is paying).
