Entertainment World Opening Next Month in Qatar

There is a new outdoor fair about to open up in Qatar. The carnival-type venue, Entertainment World, will be located in the Al Qutayfiya beach area next to The Pearl Qatar.

Spanning over more than 92,000 square metres, the fair will feature rides, shops, shows and restaurants. It will be open for the next couple of months, then will close down during Ramadan and open its doors again for Eid Al Fitr. 

It's a family-friendly venue and visitors can expect a Snow World, go karting and a mini-golf course. All the fun will also be for a good cause as half the profits will be donated to local cancer institutes.

Local businesses have been invited to sell their products on site and there will be pavilions built specifically for them. More than 400 stores are expected to open up at the venue.

The opening hours will be from 3pm to 11pm on weekdays and weekends from 2pm to midnight.

Other entertainment options

Qatar has been putting a lot of effort into increasing the tourism in the country and part of that is offering a vareity of entertainment options. 

In addition to the newly opened Mall of Qatar, another mall, Doha Festival City, will be opening next month. More projects are being revealed every day. Seven other malls are expected to open in the next few years and there are many preparations going on for the World Cup.
