Road signs in Bahrain are standardized road signs similar to those used in other nations but with certain distinctions. Signs usually use the Transport Medium typeface also used in the United Kingdom, though some signs on recently completed expressways use Transport Heavy.
Bahraini traffic signs use Arabic, the official and national language in the Middle East (except Israel and Turkey). However, English is also used for important public places such as tourist attractions, airports and immigration checkpoints. Both Arabic and English are used in the direction signs, and Stop signs.
