I find you have to turn all wifi off apart from the device you are using, interference from the laptop makes FT go off and on too. So when I use my Ipad, I turn off wifi off my phone and laptop, it works perfectly then. Thanks salsB for the tip, but this hasn't worked either. The TV is hard wired via a cable, so I don't think it's that, and I've tried turning my mobile off to no avail. Our laptop hasn't arrived in the shipping yet, but I'm wondering if I cable that directly whether things will be better... It's so annoying to have had it working perfectly on an "inferior" "cheaper" mobile package, and now we have super duper fibre, it's all gone haywire!! Anyone else?...TIA again!

Anyone else having FT ipad issues with their newly installed Ooredoo fibre broadband? I had no problems with Facetime until we switched from mobile to fibre, and now no-one can see us!!! I called customer services (111) and they said it was a problem with the app and I should re-install it, then I explained that it worked fine in Starbucks so they said I should turn off the router for 40 seconds at the socket...well, that hasn't worked! Googling suggests our upload speed might not be fast enough, but Ooredoo are in denial and say the speed is adequate for what we want to achieve. The insisted on installing the slowest speed before letting us upgrade, but does anyone know if upgrading to a faster speed will actually fix the problem?!? I'd rather pay as I go for the mobile bb if not!! Argh!! TIA
