Hello everyone.

I'm moving to Doha in a few months with my husband and our son. He will be around 8 months when we move. I'm just wondering what kind of formula is available in Doha? He is currently on SMA Comfort but will be on SMA Follow On Milk by then. Do you also get Pampers Nappies?

Also does anyone know if the Depo Provera Contraception Injection is available?

Thanks for your help. Might see some of you in a few months.

Hi,elmogiraffe I recently moved out to Doha with my 3 month old daughter & you can get all the big branded formula in most of the hyper markets. I'm going to the mall tomorrow so will 100% make sure you can get the SMA follow on milk. As for nappies you get pampers over here & all of the Johnson's products & Huggies wipes. If you need any information or have any question you can email me on [email protected] as I understand how daunting it can be moving to somewhere new with young children. The same goes for you also Mum22boys :-)

You can get Pampers everywhere but they may not be identical to the ones you're using at home. Can't answer on the formula - possibly in Megamart or Spinneys or similar. Plenty of formula options though and a lot of the main formulas are just the same recipe with different branding anyway. Might be worth sending an email to Doha Mums and someone'll ask on the forum for you. Depo's available here although it probably won't be covered by your insurance.
