Ok, so two questions for you ladies

One, my iPad keeps telling me I only have 2GB of memory left, when I haven't downloaded anything onto my iPad. No movies nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

And second, is there an apple store here in doha, not virgin, a proper store?

Thanks so much ladies

A very frustrated kitsune!!!

I have had two repairs under warranty through iSpot over the years...with no problems. They are, as far as I am aware, the only authorised repair company in Qatar. If you are still under warranty with the iPad, calling Apple in the USA will be free and they can often fix small stuff over the phone. ISpot run the shop at Lagoona as well but not seen one at any other mall.

ispot is the store at City Centre - I went there once and couldn't stress enough how incompetent they were - appalling!! If they are an authorised store then Apple need to get there you no what togeher! :) There used to be an apple store in Royal Plaza but think that might be long gone. Also maybe one in Landmark? Have you tried sending an email to Apple - might be the fastest and most effective solution.

hey rachela :-) yes, its definately the normal storage. and i have previously downloaded viedos etc, but i delete them when i am done. at the moment, i have 3 apps, no photos, 2 episodes of the big bang thoery and 6 books. so like, 4GB. i should have 40 odd GB free. but its showing that i have used up 52GB. i dont know how thats possible. i havent used the icloud at all. what is ispot?

kitsune, are you sure the message is referring to storage on the ipad itself and not your iCloud storage allotment? Depending on your settings music and I'm not sure what else might be stored on iCloud, which I think is about 5gb per user. You can check your available space on your iPad itself by going into Settings/Genera/About and it should give you info about the capacity and how much space is left. And in case this makes no sense at all, there's always iSpot! ;)
