Kindle/Amazon
I didn't want to hijack the thread about purchasing books for the iPad ... but I purchased a Kindle Fire on the weekend while in Dubai (side note: excellent price -- was 699 QAR, which makes it just slightly less than the cost on the Amazon website. Was a sale though for Leap Year.) Have also noticed since returning that Virgin Megastore is selling Kindles. (Kindle Fire is 999 QAR there. Which still might be cheaper than people ordering from Amazon, paying taxes, and shipping... )
Anyway, my question is this -- does anyone know of any place locally that might be selling Amazon gift cards? Would be so convenient to be able to go buy one using my QAR instead of always using my credit card for purchases. I know -- it's a long shot, but with Virgin selling the kindles I had to ask.
