I have been referred to Al Ahli Orthopedic department for reassessment of an ongoing back problem.
Can anyone recommend a orthopedic specialist based there please?

Hi we had surgery on our daughter's foot at Al Ahli, Dr Khalid was her doctor. Excellent in every way! Post Op, aftercare, follow ups! Def recommend it!

Hi KMG I had major spinal / back surgery at Al Ahli with Dr Tolessa last year, in fact I was the first ‘expat women’ to undergo spinal surgery at Al Ahli. Dr Tolessa is fantastic and I highly recommend him. However the aftercare at Al Ahli wasn’t so hot. I wouldn’t go near Doha Clinic if you paid me as I had a very bad experience there and know others that have also. My husband had shoulder surgery at Aspetar two years ago and it was also excellent, and the aftercare was brilliant.

And don't overlook Aspetar. It's a sports medicine hospital but they definitely see patients whose injuries are not sports related. Both my son and I have been seen by orthopedic surgeons there, and I have a friend who has had 2 knee surgeries there. All extremely positive experiences!

Dr Amr at the Doha Clinic is THE BEST. I am seeing him for a shoulder problem and he is brilliant.

I'm not sure about Al Ahli but I just had shoulder surgery with Dr Amr at Doha Clinic last week and I couldn't sing his or the Clinic's praises enough. Everything went really smoothly and my shoulder is making a fantastically fast recovery!
