I'm sure many of you get the emails from Qatar Airways, but if not, they are having a 2 for 1 sale to celebrate the 100th destination. I think you have today and tomorrow to buy the tickets and it's good for travel through June 10th.

Booked 2 to Istabul... saved around $100/tkt compared to cheapest flight on Kayak. As a side note, Etihad out of A.D. is also offering 25% discount on mileage redemptions.

Just booked mine..... 2 seats London to Doha return in May for a week £390 each which is the same price as indirect flights with gulf or emirates. Should have been about £550 so not bad, I am pleased, Ritz here we come for a week of TLC and sun

QA are also offering 25% discount on any tickets bought by redeeming miles. We've just bought 2 rtn tickets to Manchester in Aug for 52 000 miles. Unfortunately the taxes were QR2500 *gags*.

Typical!! Just been on their site to book my flights and the offer is 'delayed': 100th Destination Launch Due to technical problems with our booking engine provider, several airlines are currently experiencing difficulties with their online bookings. Qatar Airways is also affected and is therefore postponing the 48-hour '2 for 1' online ticket offer for one day. The promotion will now be effective from April 7 (00:01 hrs) to April 8 (23:59hrs). Qatar Airways regrets the inconvenience, but will honour all bookings made to date for the offer. CB

Darn darn darn!! I was so excited, thinking we could use this for friends who are wanting to visit from the US! But then I read the small print in my email: "Offer does not apply for customers wishing to travel: Between Sao Paulo and Bueno Aires, and from Houston, New York or Washington to Doha" :(
