Hello ladies

I have been offered places for my son at Al Muna and Pearl Primary. I would like feedback from mums with children attending these schools please. I only visited Al Muna but did not have time to visit Pearl. What is it like?

My other child has been accepted at Al Bateen, and on a map, Pearl looks closer, and on their website, it looks great as well. Al Muna had a lovely community feel.

Any info would be appreciated as we have to reply within the next few days.

Thanks
TD

If Mrs Chapman is still the head at Pearl she certainly did a lot in her short time as head of Jebel Ali primary in Dubai to tighten up on things and raise standards across the board. yeh think she still is, yes she has been here a while at jebel ali for a long time before pearl. also pat rooney was at bsak before moving over to pearl.

My kids went to Pearl; It was excellent, very friendly cosy feel while strong academically. The head teacher runs a tight ship which reflects in the behaviour and results of the pupils

what about the mushrif one, its being housed inside al bateen school temporarily until they move into their own building shortly. I did call them but they were full for Sept. Both Muna and Pearl seem nice. I guess my Concern is that Pearl opened 3 new classes for Year 1 in existing premises, so may get a bit too Busy. But I will have to think about it more. Thanks

Thanks TD my kids dont go to either but i know people that work at them. yes you are right pearl is closer to bateen so its easier to get to. al muna is smaller and from other peoples reaction think its got a better small community feel to it. but they are both good.
