Abu Dhabi Police and ADNOC Distribution have collaborated together to help keep motorists' summer commutes safe and smooth, with an initiative offering drivers free light vehicle inspections that cover 12 important points.

Getting your car inspected ensures your vehicle is in top shape to handle the searing heat and long drives. Car issues such as overheated engines, leaks, tire bursts, and broken air conditioning become increasingly common during the UAE's warmer months, and can be prevented with a quick check.

The free detailed checks are available for drivers of light vehicles in Abu Dhabi, and include a 12-point inspection of your engine oil, tire pressure, coolant, battery, windshield washer fluid levels, brake fluid, clutch fluid, air filter condition, oil filter and more.

ADNOC Distribution and Abu Dhabi Police introduced the initiative in an effort to boost traffic safety by helping ensure cars are in optimal condition to drive under sweltering temperatures.
