I was fortunate enough to enjoy a spa package which includes access to their luxury facilities, along with a beach and pool pass complete with either lunch or afternoon tea. I opted for their quintessential British afternoon tea experience for a delectable post-spa treat, but more on that later.
Featuring a blend of Eastern traditions and European techniques, stepping into The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai's spa is like entering a pocket of calm where time seems to stand still. Their spa has 12 treatment rooms, an outdoor relaxation pool, hot and cold plunge pools, eucalyptus-infused soothing steam-rooms, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
I indulged in a foot bath, foot scrub, and a tension-releasing foot, shoulder, and scalp massage; the whole treatment was wonderful as it left me de-stressed and gloriously relaxed.
Afterwards, I made use of the hot and cold plunge pools, then chilled out in the relaxation lounges. You'll be so relaxed you almost won't want to leave - always a good sign.
This body and soul-soothing spa break has a special offer this summer at just AED 580 all week-long (Outside of the offer, it is usually AED 680 on weekends).
The whole spa day package was thoroughly enjoyable and a perfect way to spend the day; I would highly recommend it as a spa-cation getaway in Dubai with your friends, family, or as a pick-me-up for your next 'me-time'.
Afternoon Tea at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai
Don't feel like you have to rush out afterwards - take a seat at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai's glamourous lounge for an irresistible afternoon tea.
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai's delicious afternoon tea menu of traditional finger sandwiches, scones, cakes, and tea is served up at the elegant Lobby Lounge where a gorgeous chandelier and grand piano takes centre stage.
Effortlessly sophisticated, the indoor lounge is inviting and elegant, making it a wonderful location to tuck into an afternoon tea. Mine featured an assortment of finger sandwiches with classic flavours such as cucumber and cream cheese along with more unusual options like curried egg and remoulade. The selection of teas was vast and complemented the freshly baked scones, fine pastries, and other sweets perfectly.
This was the perfect ending to a relaxing day out.
