Check out these limited-time outdoor movie theatres in Dubai for unforgettable nights of blockbusters, indie films, good vibes, and cozy moments. Whether you're with friends, family, or enjoying a solo movie night, you can enjoy a cinematic experience like no other.
You won't want to miss it as Dubai's outdoor cinemas are typically only available during the winter season!
1. VOX Moonlight
The VOX Moonlight Experience is back for the winter season with outdoor movie showings at the Galleria Mall on Al Wasl Road, Dubai. Enjoy the latest blockbusters or catch throwback favourites while seated in cushy bean bag chairs, two-person cabanas, or loungers.

2. Roxy Outdoor cinema
Out on the rooftop of the Galleria Mall in Al Barsha, movie-goers can swap the usual indoor cinema routine with an outdoor movie screening against the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset or under the glittering Dubai night sky.
Kick back on comfy sofas and see the latest Hollywood, Arabic, or Bollywood blockbusters with the Roxy Outdoor movie experience.

3. Zero Gravity
Zero Gravity is bringing cinema to the sands with an outdoor movie screening of the Christmas classic, 'Home Alone 1', this Monday 16th December 2024 from 7PM.
Tickets are AED 75 and are fully redeemable. Visitors must be aged 21 and above.

3. Cinema Akil - 25hours, Hotel Dubai One Central
Located in Dubai's art district of Alserkal Avenue, Cinema Akil is the GCC's first-ever independent cinema and has been a hidden gem for seeing indie and regional movies.
While the movie screenings typically happen indoors at their Al Quoz location, come the cooler months cinephiles can enjoy some outdoor screenings hosted by Cinema Akil at 25hours in Hotel Dubai One Central.

4. JLT Park
JLT Park will be hosting outdoor movie nights in Dubai every Saturday evening at 7:30PM, featuring family-friendly movies such as 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' on December 7, 'The Polar Express' on December 14, and 'Elf' on December 21.

Note: Movie-goers are required to bring their own set-up (picnic blanket, outdoor chair, etc.), otherwise beanbags are also available for rent at AED 30 per person.
5. The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR)
Head to the promenade at JBR on Fridays and Saturdays to catch a series of beloved family movie screenings along the beach, including Toy Story and Home Alone.
Part of the JBR Winter Nights event, visitors can also enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks, and exciting kids' workshops for the little ones.
