Volunteers are invited to join Dubai Cares' Back-to-School initiative to help assemble backpacks for low-income household students

Your time and effort can transform a student's school year.
Lend a hand, change a life! Registrations are now open for volunteers to help support students from low-income families in the UAE, ensuring they are provided with the tools for a brighter future.
Aldar Properties has teamed up with Dubai Cares to get 10,000 backpacks ready with essential school kits for underprivileged students, packing each bag with supplies such as notebooks, stationery, and other educational tools.
The 'Back to school' edition of 'Volunteer Emirates' will be taking place in Abu Dhabi on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 8 AM to 1 PM, in preparation for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
How to Register as a Volunteer
UAE residents interested in volunteering for the cause can sign up via the official Dubai Cares website to register for the event.
Sign-ups will end on Monday August 12, 2024, so early registrations are encouraged. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and carry a valid Emirates ID.
