Hi. My son and daughter in law have been in AD for 4 years, and live on Reem Island. It all depends where your place of work is and how long your daily commute would be. Reem Island is excellent for parking (car parks come with their apartment), and they are basically living in a very convenient resort. Leisure activities on tap and a friendly community. Waitrose supermarket is not the cheapest, but is very convenient, as are the restaurants that deliver. Hope this is helpful.
