legally you loose all your money, if you have been made redundant and can prove it you may have some recourse and loose 3 months as a penalty, but you rented the villa for a year and you have to pay for the year. now if your landlord is nice he may allow you to break the lease, sometimes they will give you back any money if you can relet it etc.
