Does anyone have any information about Aldar opening a school in Al Ain in September 2011? Would like to know what year it will go up to and if there is someone we can contact about admissions now.

I beleive Heather Mann will be the head (Yasmina head) and the deputy will be from the Pearl. There is also going to be a new Aldar school in Mushriff. It will be from 3 -18 like Yasmina. It will open in 2011 with FS1 - Year 4. For the first 2 years it will be on the Al Bateen secondary site, while Muxshriff is being refurbished. That Heather Mann is going around the place, first she was at JPS and then moved down to Abu Dhabi and now moving again to Al Ain. Yes I have mentioned the other new aldar schools in abu dhab beforei, but this thread is particularly about the proposed one in Al Ain. The Mushrif one is not opening properly until 2013 as its being housed temporarily in the vacant sections of Al Bateen until they add other secondary years in the forthcoming years in abu dhabi.

I would keep checking on the Aldar Academies website for info- this has only just been confirmed. yes only today have ads gone out for teaching staff etc. jim harvey is the one with his finger on the button he will know what is going on. i know him well, he was head at bsak before moving over to aldar academics to run the education side of things. he is a nice guy. <em>edited by busybee2 on 25/03/2011</em>

Thanks again m the best person that i know who would be able to help would be Jim Harvey, he is charge off all the education side of things here in abu dhabi, and so will be the man to talk to.

i havent heard of aldar opening a school in al ain, only in abu dhabi. the bateen secondary school with temporary section for primary years until that new primary school is built for 2013.
