I just wanted to post, that I went to this last year and was so impressed that I ended up sending my children to one of the schools that was exhibiting. It was mind blowing to see what the children could be getting as opposed to what I was 'putting up with' and just accepting a sub standard education and having to tutor like mad as percentages were lowering by the term. If you feel like this, I would encourage you just to go and see for yourself....life changing. :)

We went along too, didnt really know anything much about boarding school, had never considered myself a 'boarding school parent', our son had spent a lot of time not living up to his potential, and had many distractions in Dubai, and was possibly limited to his choices as far as school goes after his GCSEs. We were really impressed and pleasantly surprised that our son was keen. He is now Lathallan School at Brotherton Castle in Scotland, and is loving it, doing really well, playing sports for his school, going to Model United Nations and has settled in perfectly. He has been home twice since the start of term in September, and will be home in February and at Easter, so although we missed him from the household, we are skyping and seeing him a lot. What a good good decision it has been for our family.
