I am thinking of buying a second hand car but it is registered in Abu Dhabi and I live in Dubai, can I get this transferred to Dubai registration. Also it is still under warranty with free servicing, do I have to go to Abu Dhabi for the service or can this be done in Dubai? I wouldn't normally be bothered with a car in Abu Dhabi but it is a very good deal.

yes but you will need to de-register it and re-register etc. sometimes they require you to get export plates or a tow truck. warranty/service i would say it depends on the dealer, if for eg its ford then they are al tayer in dxb and premier motors in auh, same firm just different name i believe. but some of the dealers are different across the emirates so you would need to actually ask them that question!
