Can I work part-time for more than one company on my visa which is sponsored by my husband?
Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me with this? Having moved here a couple of months ago from Australia, I am now starting to look for part time work in my field of graphic design. But the more I look around the more complicated things seem to get.
I understand I have to get a Freelance Licence to work in the Free-Zone here in Abu Dhabi but this does not apply to non-freezing companies.
So my question:
Can I work part-time for more than one company as a freelancer in the Abu Dhabi when my residency visa is sponsored by my husband? The visa in my passport says in brackets (can not work) which I did not realise before I moved here. Half the reason we moved here was so I could work part-time...
If he provides a NOC (Letter of No Objection saying he allows me to work) will that help?
Also, if anyone has any tips for the best way to find freelance graphic design work, that would be great as well :)
