Car purchased in Dubai how to do transfer to Abu Dhabi?

Hi everyone
I am wanting to purchase a car in Dubai but I live in Abu Dhabi.
Recently the rules changed on exporting cars from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. I have been told I can only do the sale paperwork in Dubai. I can't get export plates and then drive to Abu Dhabi to register the car there which is what I have done before.
I have been told I have to arrange for truck to take my car from Dubai to Abu Dhabi for the registration etc.
Has anyone else done this recently - who did you use and how much did they charge? How difficult was it?
