Hi All

I have just been told that I have been accepted for a job in Al Ain next month, which is great. But... I have a 15 month old daughter and no one to take care of her. All the nurseries seem to be closed for the summer and I need someone to take care of her from the 10th August. Because we won't be there for long before I start work, I need to organise something before we arrive in Al Ain. Can anyone suggest anything? Even if it is just for a few weeks until I can make long term arrangements, I would be so grateful for some advice. I'm a single parent, so I don't have anyone out there who can help and I have no way of checking the local boards or magazines before we get out.

Thanks BM. I can't find any information about maid agencies. Do you know of any?

Check out local maid agencies who will provide someone on an hourly/weekly basis etc (but make sure you are happy with her/the arrangement first)
