I grew up in Abu Dhabi and moved away to Australia but now back but all friends from school etc are no longer here so starting off new and from scratch. I'm currently job hunting but while I am unemployed I am finding it a little boring just stuck at home! I am looking for things to do, meeting new people, fitness classes, dog walking, volunteer work until I have a job sorted.       Hello Ladies, as usual it's that time of the year where we all come together to save more lives. Pink Polo, the breast cancer awareness event is coming back on the 8th of November 2013 at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club . Gates open at 2pm and its free for public.. Like their page on Facebook officialpinkpolouae or follow them on twitter @pink_polo It's a great family event supporting a cause that affects almost every house in the UAE.       Hi Fallingstar, I have volunteered at the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, assisting the women who have taken refuge there. They need all sorts of assistance, both to teach them skills that they can use back in the Philippines and to relieve the boredom and promote their self-esteem whilst they wait up to 4 weeks to return home. I know that they have two industrial sewing machines but no-one to teach the skills. Perhaps this could be an option for you whilst you are looking for a job.       you can buy it pretty much in every supermarket...either rose essence (in little tiny bottles by the food colouring and flavouring) or rose water .... also orange blossom water, just on the shelves by the baking products
