Hi,

Does anyone know of an IT support person who comes to the house? Our router is down and out, etisalat a night mare and I just need someone to fix it. Got to the point of nearly throwing the computer through the wall! Thank you

i have an astech supplied by etislat and if you go into their site you can reboot it yourself. the tech told me that you should have lots of numbers there ip addresses etc and if they are there then you can just press reboot and it should work. i did the other stuff about rebooting in on the computer, putting in your password etc and ip address that didnt work at all for me...... this is a common problem.

Thank you so much. I have the manual and go to reset it (sitecom) but etisalat block the site I need to open to reset. It would be pretty easy????? if I was able to enter the IP number so to move forward. Thanks for your help - this is great. I also wonder why it happens??

Thank you had the same issue the other day.... the only way is to keep going in to the etislat business center. we have this issue many times, but you can go into the actual router message and reboot the system and then it will bring it back to life. i always question why this happens so many times, last time they change the router..... if the power or something happens to the system and even if its only off for a fraction of a second the system gets confused etc and you have to reboot. i had an awful time with etislat closing my complaints, saying they called me when they didnt, closing my complaints again them not turning up, 3 days i waited and each time they didnt show, each time i called they just kept cancelling and reissuing complaint number think i was up to 7!!! in the end got it sorted but have to be persistent and i go to mafraq office. they are brill there. wrote a complaint about how the technicans were saying they had called when they didnt, tested the line, thats ok, kept saying you have to come inside as its the router problem again.......
