Burdubai, Minabazar is quite famous for the fabric market but cannot guarantee you about the western fabric. evan though you can try for the dragon mall near international city. but i am sure you will get the good fabric for ur daughter from Minabazar. think the op was on about fabric shops in auh not in dxb.

Regal Stores & Mayfair Textiles - have some lovely laces. & a great tailor for dresses would be "SOCIETY"... others are better know for indian outfits..but Society is good for western clothes. Good Luck.
