as far as i am aware the only place able to do the medical for visas is in town. its in the preventive medicine place part of SKMC, the Sheikh Khalifa Medical Centre off 11th st, if you dont know abu its near to al Wadha Mall. You used to be able to do it at private hospitals but that is now not the case. I would suggest that perhaps you try ringing up Al Rahba Hospital as that is a government hospital on the way into abu and would be closer and try to find an english speaking person who could help you. they may do it there but its a local area, not an expat area, nor an expat hospital but worth a try. but i still think that you will have to come into the town of abu dhabi to do it. you also would have to pay extra to have it done the same day, otherwise its usually pick up the next day after 3pm.
