In all my searches, I havent found one villa that meets all the top "wants"in Khalifa City A: 1) Stand alone Villa 4+ Bedrooms 2) Kitchen inside the villa for the cook (me) 3) Nicely fitted bathrooms/shower (2 sinks in Master and stand outside the tub style shower) 4) Covered Parking 5) Pool 6) Space If you see or know of one that meets these please advise...

I have been spending a lot of time driving up and down and around and around the area. I have a Garmin GPS and have been tracking my trails. It is fun to coordinate with Google Earth and cross check the Satellite imaging to eliminate some by the imagery. I have called several, some owner and some Agents. I have heard some very interesting things. Some of the "To Let/For Rent signs on Villas are actually large villas that are renting separate divided units. I havent bothered to look at those. Although, I am sure that could be an interesting experience. Also, some are saying prices are going up and some say coming down. I dont know what to believe. There are many new vacant places and many, many up and coming constructions works that seem to be finishing soon. Thankfully, I have time to find the areas I like best and then prioritize from there. Thank you to those who have offered helpful suggestions. What do you think ladies, are prices going up or coming down?

Another to find a villa for rent in Khalifa City is to drive around and look for the "for rent" signs on the villas. A lot of landlords do not advertise online or in the papers, but simply put up a sign. You could call as you are outside the ones you like, or if you have a gps, log the villa locations and the corresponding telephone numbers, then once you are back home sit with a cup of tea and start doing the calls :-)

Thank you Busybee for the response. Our budget is fair and more than reasonable. I wouldnt want to overlook any of our options. Is this privately listed or up and coming? We would love to sort out a villa before moving time... but, understand the difficulties. Any help is very welcomed and appreciated no dont think its listed, number on the side of the wall, 150 4 bed ensuite green communal garden electric gate parking for at least 4 nice landlord easy for getting onto the motorway at e11 etc etc.

From the experience we have recently had looking for accommodation I would say keep an eye on prices on these websites, but don't expect to be shown the house that you see a picture of online. Most are quite general adverts. Do your research on areas and prices, bear in mind that the price advertised online may be less than what the actual cost of renting a house in that area may be. Also factor in 5% agent fees and 5% deposit approx. The best course of action is to wait until you arrive, so that you can physically see the houses. From what we have experienced the fact that lots of people have moved back from Dubai to AD recently means that house prices have gone up and availability has gone down, but there are still nice places out there depending on your budget and requirements. Hope it all goes well for you.

Just need some advice on where to look for housing ads. I have seen Dubizzle. What are some other Internet resources? We will be more actively looking in November for our December/January move date. Most interested in a Villa in Khalifa A area, all inclusive would be ideal. Ideas? property.ae or something like that seem to be good
