Many many children just clam up in such situations and many schools allow for that. If it's any consolation once your little girl starts school and she gets into the daily routine of seeing her little classmates every day she will start to open up. I have seen it happen to lots of children and after a few months you will wonder why you worried. Just a suggestion but why not try a summer camp just for a few hours a day. Just to see how she gets on with the other children. There are even some advertised on the EW site. They are more fun orientated so might break her in to the social scene a bit gentler too. I wish you lots of luck. xxx bye:

Hello there, International School of Chouiefat called us for my daughter's interview for KG1 admission. Of course, i was very glad. She is very vocal in the house but when the interview starts, she never uttered even a single workd. We missed the chance to get a slot in that school. I felt bad about it because i know that she can. I've noticed also that she is not talking to other people that she met anywhere like in the malls, park or party. I dont know how to encourage her to talk. Anyone here with same situation? Any advice please? thank you
